About BedGarden Planner
BedGarden Planner is a small utility site for gardeners who need practical spacing and timing estimates without opening a full garden design app.
How estimates work
The calculator divides the bed length and width by a crop’s suggested plant spacing, then multiplies the slots together. It intentionally gives a simple estimate that is easy to understand and repeat.
What it does not replace
It does not replace local frost-date guidance, seed packet details, or variety-specific growing instructions. Large varieties may need more space; compact varieties may tolerate less.
Why the site is small
The goal is recurring utility: calculate, check the month, compare crops, plant. More features will only be added if analytics show users need them.
